James Noble Bartlet practised with the firm from the time of his graduation from law school until his death on September 17, 2005.  He was awarded the Gold Medal upon his graduation from Osgoode Hall in 1950 and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1966.  James Bartlet was admitted as a partner in 1955.  He devoted a very substantial portion of his practice to the field of labour law, providing Management representation.  He had also practiced corporate and commercial law and in the field of proprietary interests.  Mr. Bartlet served as President of the Essex Law Association, Chairman of the Windsor Housing Authority, President of the Children's Aid Society of the County of Essex and Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Salvation Army Grace Hospital.
